AT MADERA, IN R17E T11S, IN THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 24, AT THE INTERSECTION OF WEST YOSEMITE AVENUE AND H STREET, AT THE MADERA COUNTY COURTHOUSE ANNEX, 61 1/2 FEET NORTHEAST OF THE CENTER LINE OF H STREET, 49.2 FEET SOUTH OF THE SOUTH CORNER OF THE BUILDING, 3.2 FEET NORTHWEST OF THE NORTHWEST CURB OF THE AVENUE, ABOUT LEVEL WITH THE AVENUE, 0.2 FOOT BELOW THE SIDEWALK, ACCESS HAD THRU A 7-INCH METAL LID, AND SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST.

Found it at 12:15, 08 February 2003. Found it as described and in good condition on the northerly corner of Yosemite and H Streets, across the street from the old courthouse.
