EV2866 "Sunnyhill 1933" - Triangulation Station

I found this mark on a short trip along Old Route 66, about a mile east of Helendale, Ca. as described and in good condition. The described witness post is in place. Reference Mark No. 2 was located as described and in good condition. Reference Mark No. 1 was not located but most likely still exists.

The GPSr showed a found coordinate deviation of only 0.001' of longitude.  The altitude was about 10 feet off as I was holding the GPSr about 4 feet above the mark.  Both measurements well within the tolerance of the handheld Garmin.
