GT1325 - P 669 RESET

GT1325 is the type of mark that is difficult to miss due to its setting.  Prominently set, knee-high in the middle of a building wall, it stands out to a surveyor.  It's doubtful that the general public, and possibly even the building owners, pay it much attention though.  The building has been painted, and the mark with it, but someone has scraped a bit of paint of the mark in an effort to correctly identify it.

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1962 AT CARUTHERS. AT CARUTHERS, ACROSS TAHOE STREET FROM THE POST OFFICE, AT THE INTERSECTION OF TAHOE AND OAK STREETS, SET VERTICALLY IN THE NORTHEAST BRICK WALL OF THE FIRST NATIONAL BANK BUILDING, 30.8 FEET SOUTHEAST OF THE NORTH CORNER OF THE BUILDING, 43 FEET SOUTHWEST OF THE CENTERLINE OF OAK STREET, AND 2.2 FEET ABOVE THE CONCRETE SIDEWALK.

GT1325 was found at 09:40, 29 November 2014.

The mark was found as described and in good condition. The building is no longer a bank, but is now the Adventist Health Community Care Center. The mark had been painted over when the building was painted, but a portion of the paint had previously been scraped off of the mark so the stamped designation can be read.

WGS84 coordinates found by 2 minute occupation with 6 strong satellites and 1 WAAS satellite.
