GT1322 - Q 669

I had no luck finding this one.  This is the main road through town and it looks as if it's been widened.  The mark is described as being 25 feet off the centerline of the road.  That would put it in the south-bound travel lane.

DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1959 AT CARUTHERS. ALONG ROAD TO RIVERDALE, 25 FEET NORTH OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE ROAD, 170 FEET NORTHWEST OF THE CARUTHERS GRADE SCHOOL, 150 FEET SOUTHWEST OF CARUTHERS HIGH SCHOOL AND 1 FOOT SOUTH THE HIGH SCHOOL GROUNDS FENCE. SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST.

This mark is believed to be destroyed. The road has been widened substantially and the described grade school and high school have both been removed. Both properties are still school grounds, however the location for the grade school is now used for baseball fields, and the location for the high school is now the Caruthers High School Stadium.
