DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1959 5.8 MI NW FROM SANGER. 5.8 MILES NORTH AND WEST ALONG THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC RAILROAD FROM THE STATION AT SANGER, AT THE CROSSING OF DE WOLF AVENUE, 1 1/2 FEET WEST OF MILEPOLE 214, 24.8 FEET SOUTH OF THE SOUTH RAIL, 113 FEET WEST OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE AVENUE, 1.9 FEET EAST OF A WITNESS POST, ABOUT 1 1/2 FEET LOWER THAN THE TRACK, AND SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST PROJECTING 0.3 FOOT ABOVE THE GROUND.

Found USC&GS mark stamped 'B1037 1959' at 15:58, 21 November 2012 as described and in good condition. Go to description is adequate. In addition to the witness post, there is an owl box on a 2 inch diameter pole placed about 3 feet west of the mark.
