Found California Division of Highways (CDOH) Triangulation Station stamped 'PRATTON - 1972' at 12:40, 31 March 2012 as described and in fair condition. Go to description is adequate. The station setting seems stable, but it is set at the edge of an Almond orchard, between the the rows of trees. Its location subjects it to abuse by farm equipment. The station is readable, but the described 14 inch concrete post, now about 1 inch below grade, is chipped and scarred. The described steel witness post is missing.

Reference Monument No. 1 was found in good condition, about 42.5 feet North of, and across the railroad tracks from the Station, immediately southwest of the base of the railroad crossing signal (buck).

Reference Monument No. 2 was found in good condition, about 39.7 feet Northeast of, and across the road from the Station, immediately south of the base of the railroad crossing signal (buck). Recent utility company markings identify an 8 inch gas line adjacent to, or possibly under the Reference Monument.

The Azimuth Mark, GT2111, "PRATTON AZ MK" was searched for, but not located. It is believed to have been destroyed due to road widening. There is a Department of the Interior Geological Survey mark set in a canal headwall structure near the location for the azimuth mark. It is NOT the azimuth mark.

Published NAD83 coordinates are located about 5 feet west of the found WGS84 coordinates. WGS84 coordinates for the mark found by 4 minute occupation with 7 strong satellites and 2 WAAS satellites.
