TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE INTERSECTION OF ASHLAN AVENUE AND HIGHWAY 99, GO EAST ON ASHLAN AVENUE FOR 0.15 MI (0.24 KM) TO GOLDEN STATE BLVD. TURN LEFT AND GO NORTH ON GOLDEN STATE BLVD FOR 0.05 MI (0.08 KM) TO A SIDE ROAD RIGHT, GOLDEN STATE BLVD, ALSO SIGNED AS THE SOUTHBOUND ON-RAMP TO HIGHWAY 99. TURN RIGHT AND GO SOUTHEASTERLY ON GOLDEN STATE BLVD, PASSING UNDER ASHLAN AVENUE, FOR 0.15 MI (0.24 KM) TO THE STATION ON THE RIGHT AT THE ENTRANCE OF THE ON-RAMP TO HIGHWAY 99. THE STATION IS A SURVEY DISK ENCASED IN PVC PIPE WITH ACCESS COVER SET IN CONCRETE FLUSH WITH THE GROUND, ABOUT 175 FT (53.3 M) SOUTHEAST OF THE CENTERLINE OF BUCKINGHAM AVENUE, 72.8 FT (22.2 M) SOUTHWEST OF THE CENTERLINE OF GOLDEN STATE BLVD, 36.0 FT (11.0 M) WEST OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE SOUTHBOUND ON-RAMP TO HIGHWAY 99, 8.0 FT (2.4 M) EAST OF A 6 FT (1.8 M) CHAIN LINK FENCE, 2.3 FT (0.7 M) NORTH OF A CARSONITE WITNESS POST AND LEVEL WITH THE ROADWAY. THE STATION WAS OCCUPIED AS PART OF A CALIFORNIA HPGN DENSIFICATION SURVEY.

Found it at 18:15. I drive by this one quite often and have seen more than one surveyor set up on it. The brass cap is in a covered well and in good condition. The listed coords were right on - only 10'-12' off.
