HR0917 - "G703 RESET 1975" (Revisited)
I regularly drive this road, located at the southern edge of the town of Auberry, Fresno County, California. This NGS mark lies near the northwest corner of the bridge deck over the Little Sandy Creek. This NGS mark stamped "G 703 RESET 1975" was revisited at 19:07, 21 April 2019 as described and in generally good condition. Set on the bridge deck, it rests below a steel guard rail and is well protected. Other than road debris, tree leaves, and the occasional bit of survey graffiti, this mark received very little wear. As stated in the title, this was a revisit. I originally visited this mark on 02 September 2002.
Published NAD83 coordinates are located about 231 feet east-southeasterly of the found WGS84 coordinates. WGS84 coordinates for the mark found by 4 minute occupation with 7 strong satellites and 2 WAAS satellites.

DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1975 1 MI S FROM AUBERRY. 1.0 MILE SOUTH ALONG AUBERRY ROAD FROM POST OFFICE AT AUBERRY, FRESNO COUNTY, AT A Y-ROAD JUNCTION, ABOUT 116 FEET NORTH OF THE CENTERLINE LUMBER MILL DRIVEWAY, 16.4 FEET EAST OF THE CENTERLINE OF AUBERRY ROAD AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF A CULVERT (LITTLE SANDY CREEK) AND IN THE TOP OF THE CONCRETE WINGWALL.
