FOUND DATA

Alt: NA

The description calls for a standard disk, stamped "Z 246 1935", set in a concrete post, 5 feet northwest of a San Joaquin Power Dynamo Monument. (The standard disk was assumed to be a USC&GS disk similar to others in the area.) Found USGS mark stamped "1009 F" at 18:20, March 8, 2009 in good condition, set in the westerly corner of the Dynamo Monument. The monument is in a fenced area covered in tall grass. A disk set in a concrete post could not be seen. Go to description is adequate. There is some damage to the southerly edge of the found USGS mark, but it is still useable for survey purposes.

Published NAD83 coordinates are located about 94 feet south of the found WGS84 coordinates. WGS84 coordinates for the mark found by 2 minute occupation approximately 8 feet northwest of the monument, with 7 strong satellites and 1 WAAS satellite.

Benchmark detail. It's a USGS mark, not the USC&GS mark I was looking for.
