RECOVERY NOTE BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1970 (LS) THE STATION WAS RECOVERED IN GOOD CONDITION AND IS THE CENTER OF THE GOLD BALL ON THE TOP OF THE CUPOLA ABOVE THE DOME OF THE CALIFORNIA STATE CAPITOL BUILDING IN SACRAMENTO, IN THE WEST CENTRAL SECTION OF CAPITOL PARK, BETWEEN 9TH, 15TH, L AND N STREETS.

I "found" this one on a brief visit to the State Capitol on a motorcycle run for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. It's hard to miss. Because I was there for a reason other than benchmarking, I didn't get many pictures or new coordinates. I'll have to revisit the area.
