DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1959 AT FRESNO. AT FRESNO, 0.75 MILE NORTHEAST ALONG TULARE STREET FROM THE POST OFFICE AND COURTHOUSE, THENCE 1.3 MILES EAST ALONG EAST TULARE STREET, AT THE INTERSECTION OF CEDAR AVENUE, IN THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE ROOSEVELT HIGH SCHOOL YARD, 15.2 FEET SOUTH OF THE SOUTH CURB OF THE STREET, 75.9 FEET EAST OF THE EAST CURB OF THE AVENUE, 131.5 FEET NORTH OF THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE MAIN BUILDING OF THE SCHOOL, 2.1 FEET SOUTHEAST OF A FENCE CORNER POST, ABOUT 1 FOOT HIGHER THAN THE STREET, AND SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST PROJECTING 0.5 FOOT ABOVE THE GROUND.

Found it at 11:20, 20 July 2005 as described and in good condition. The mark is unsuitable for GPS occupation due to the proximity of a large Oak tree.

Original NAD83 coordinates were located about 310 feet southeasterly of the found WGS84 coordinates. WGS84 coordinates for the mark found by 5 minute occupation with 6 weak satellites (due to tree canopy) and 0 WAAS satellites.
