DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1935 AT REEDLEY. AT REEDLEY, FRESNO COUNTY, AT THE CITY PARK, AT THE CORNER OF G AND NINTH STREETS, 15 FEET EAST OF AN AMERICAN LEGION MONUMENT, 6.5 FEET NORTH OF A FLAGPOLE, AND 2-1/2 FEET ABOVE GROUND. A STANDARD DISK, STAMPED REEDLEY 1935 AND SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST.

Found it at 17:45, 08 May 2003. Found it as described and in good condition. The description mentions a nearby American Legion Monument and a flagpole. Both are missing.

Original coordinates (NAD83) off by only about 20 feet when in WGS84 mode. WGS84 coordinates found by 3 minute occupation with 4 strong satellites and 1 WAAS satellite.

The view to the east. The flagpole and the American Legion Monument mentioned in the benchmark description have been removed, but would be in this picture if they were still there.
