DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1944 (JCS) STATION IS LOCATED IN THE S EDGE OF THE TOWN OF SELMA, AT THE LIBBY, MC NEILL AND LIBBY CANNERY, ON THE E SIDE OF THE BUILDINGS. IT IS 300 FEET E OF THE CENTER LINE OF FRONT STREET AND 155 FEET S OF THE CENTER LINE OF CENTER STREET. IT IS A SILVER-COLORED, ELEVATED, STEEL WATER TANK ABOUT 80 FEET HIGH. ITS APEX WAS THE POINT OF INTERSECTION.

Found it at 17:55, 05 February 2003. Found it as described, in good condition and still in use. The site with the tank is southeast of Center Street and lies between East Front Street and East Grove Street. The site is fenced and an occupation near the tank was not possible at this time. WGS84 coordinates were taken from Center Street at the Tucker Street intersection (midway between East Front Street and East Grove Street).
WGS84 coordinates found by 5 minute occupation with 6 strong satellites and 1 WAAS satellite.
