Found it at 15:20, 07 Jan., 2003. USC&GS brasscap found mostly as described and in fair condition. The witness post is missing and the face has been scared, probably by farm equipment. About 23 feet (paced) from the south edge of the pavement and flush with the ground. WGS84 coordinates found by 5 minute occupation with 8 strong satellites and 2 WAAS satellites.

Benchmark detail.

The benchmark and the GPSr.

The view to the southeast. LOTS of farmland.
