DESCRIBED BY SUNRISE GEODETIC 1989 THE STATION IS LOCATED IN THE TOWN OF COALINGA CALIFORNIA AT THE INTERSECTION OF THE CENTERLINES OF POLK STREET AND ELM STREET -HWY 198-. THE MONUMENT IS A 1 INCH DIAMETER BRASS CAP SET IN CONCRETE 1.0 FEET BELOW THE SURFACE OF THE PAVEMENT IN A COVERED MONUMENT WELL.
