DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1959 4.8 MI NW FROM SANGER. 4.8 MILES NORTH AND WEST ALONG THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC RAILROAD FROM THE STATION AT SANGER, AT THE CROSSING OF SOUTH HIGHLAND AVENUE, 1 1/2 FEET NORTHWEST OF MILEPOLE 215, 23.0 FEET SOUTH OF THE SOUTH RAIL, 139 FEET WEST OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE AVENUE, 1.4 FEET SOUTH OF A WITNESS POST, ABOUT 1 FOOT LOWER THAN THE TRACK, AND SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST PROJECTING 0.2 FOOT ABOVE THE GROUND.

Found USC&GS mark stamped 'A1037 1959' at 16:12, 21 November 2012 as described and in good condition. Go to description is adequate. Due to farming activities, the concrete post now projects up about a foot and is leaning slightly to the west, but is still relatively stable.
