DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1959 AT FRESNO. AT FRESNO, 0.75 MILE NORTHEAST ALONG TULARE STREET FROM THE POST OFFICE AND COURTHOUSE, THENCE 0.7 MILE EAST ALONG EAST TULARE STREET, ABOUT 65 YARDS WEST OF THE INTERSECTION OF SIXTH STREET, SET VERTICALLY IN THE SOUTH BRICK WALL OF A LARGE BRICK BUILDING LEASED BY THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE PRODUCTION AND MARKETING ADMINISTRATION, 1.0 FOOT WEST OF THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE BUILDING, AND 3.0 FEET ABOVE THE SIDEWALK.

Found it at 11:50, 13 July 2005 as described and in good condition. The building is no longer used by the US Department of Agriculture, but houses an auto parts store.
Original NAD83 coordinates were located about 132 feet southeasterly of the found WGS84 coordinates. WGS84 coordinates for the mark found by 5 minute occupation 15 feet south of the mark, with 7 strong satellites and 1 WAAS satellite. (Found coordinates have been adjusted to show true benchmark position.)
