DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1959 1 MI NW FROM REEDLEY. 1.0 MILE NORTHWEST ALONG THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC RAILROAD FROM THE STATION AT REEDLEY, 3 POLES NORTHWEST OF MILEPOLE 229, AT THE CROSSING OF MANNING AVENUE, IN TOP OF THE NORTHEAST END OF THE SOUTHEAST CONCRETE ABUTMENT OF A LONG BRIDGE OVER KINGS RIVER, 5.1 FEET NORTHEAST OF THE NORTHEAST RAIL, 56 FEET NORTHWEST OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE AVENUE, AND ABOUT 1/2 FOOT LOWER THAN THE TRACK.

Found it at 16:45, 14 May 2003, as described and in good condition. The railroad bridge is gone, but the abutment setting and the pilings in the river remain. The abutment is in a fenced area at the top of a steep embankment. Care should be taken while on-site.
